Lagoon 42
Lagoon 42
The Lagoon 42 is an architectural masterpiece with sophisticated design and attractive interiors. It offers a perfect balance of performance, comfort, and ease of handling, making it ideal for relaxed sailing trips.
The Lagoon 42 is a French sailing catamaran, designed by Van Peteghem/Lauriot-Prevost as a comfortable cruiser. Its sleek and modern exterior design is complemented by a streamlined hull and aluminum rigging. The interior is spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic sea views. The mast has been placed far aft to recenter the weight and significantly reduce pitching. With a self-tacking jib and a smaller boom, sail handling is greatly simplified for small crews or couples. The saloon flows seamlessly into the cockpit, creating a huge shared living area bathed in natural light through panoramic windows. The Lagoon 42 is available in three or four-cabin configurations, with the 4-cabin version often used for charter operations and the 3-cabin version offering an impressive owner's suite.
